    I would have to say if you want it rock hard go with the Skunk 2 braces i have them and it is just more than a rock they saved my car when i got hit by a drunk driver

    Yes I agree, a roll cage is the only way, and this is not just for the sol, this goes for any convertible type car. It's just the nature of the beast.
    For everyones information if you start stiffing up the sol up to much (say with z-bars at the front, along with all the tie bar stuff and stiffer suspension parts) it can start cracking the spot welds where the door catch is at on the body, it's seems to have very thin metal in that area even though it's reinforced. I'm not going to get into the other cause/s of this problem at this time.

    I was shocked at the amount of body flex with my Del Sol. My ? is...is there a kit available to stiffen up the body? Tower braces and tie bars can help but I'm thinking about the chassis due to the car being a targa roof. I'd love for my sol to be as rock solide as my hatch!! THX

    you would think that if you stiffen the car the door brackets would be more stiff too so that it won't cause it from flexing and rusting out, but it does a reverse affect?

    do they even sell rollcages for delsol's if so where could i find one
